Committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and enriching environment for all children, their goal is to ensure that every child receives the quality education they deserve. To achieve this, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join their team and help expand their educational solutions and market presence, thereby making a significant impact on the lives of children and their communities.
About the role
We are looking for a purpose-driven Business Development Executive who is passionate about making a difference in education. The primary focus of this role is to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, acquiring new clients, and achieving sales targets, all while contributing to our mission of transforming education for every child.
Responsabilities:
- Identify Business Opportunities: Understand stakeholders’ needs and continuously explore new markets and opportunities to enhance educational access and quality.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in the business environment. Know the market and the competitors to better serve educational institutions.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, attending events, and utilising online platforms. Focus on international schools, educational institutions, and other relevant organisations that align with our mission.
- KPI Monitoring: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of business development efforts and ensure alignment with our educational goals.
- Department Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support to align with overall company objectives, including targeted marketing campaigns and promotional activities that promote our educational mission.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of the education sector.
- Client Engagement: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance metrics.
- Relationship Management: Maintain client activities in CRM. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to foster long-term collaboration and impact.
- Outbound Campaigns: Run outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities that contribute to our mission.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service through regular client follow-up, ensuring our educational solutions are effectively implemented and utilised.
- Contract Management: Translate proposals into ready-to-sign contracts. Own the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation, ensuring our offerings are accessible and impactful.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and closing deals. Ensure mutually beneficial outcomes through strong negotiation skills, aligning with our mission to provide quality education for all.
- Meeting Management: Manage virtual and in-person sales meetings, ensuring our values and mission are communicated effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Romanian, both written and verbal.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably in the education or ed-tech industry.
- High resilience and adaptability to change.
- Proactive relationship-building and a strategic approach to identifying and capitalising on business opportunities.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market analysis.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Willingness to adapt and travel as required.
